Youth in Theology and Ministry:  2010 Summer Institute at Saint John’s University June 13-26, 2010

There are summer volleyball camps and basketball camps.  YTM Summer Institute is affectionately called “God Camp”.  YTM is a camp for high school youth who want to deepen their understanding and practice of their Catholic Christian faith.  At YTM, they will:

• Take theology classes in the morning taught by theology professors from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University
• Go off campus and do service learning in the afternoon
• Have some free time to relax
• Experience a variety of Christian prayer forms in the evening

Cost:  $425

Ages:  High School youth who have completed 9^th, 10^th, or 11^th Grade by June 2010

Goals:  The Youth in Theology and Ministry Program (YTM) will…

                1.  Stimulate and nurture excitement about theological learning among youth and adults.

                2. Create space for a new generation of young Christians to consider God’s call for their life.

                3. Foster the development of discipleship practices and leadership skills.

                4. Become a laboratory for Catholic youth ministry research.

 How do I know if YTM is right for me?

                1.  Have you had positive retreat or youth ministry experiences?

                2.  Are you interested in service and leadership connected to faith?

                3.  Would you like to join other youth and adults in a community of learning, faith and fun?

                If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, YTM might be for you!
