Our Purpose

The purpose of Pax Christi's Youth Ministry program is the following:

1. To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

2.  To draw young people to responsible participation in the mission and work of the Catholic faith community.

3.  To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

Our youth ministry program is offered to 6-12th grade Pax Christi youth and youth from other Catholic parishes or denominations.  It embraces the eight components of Youth Ministry:  advocacy, catechesis, community life, evangelization, leadership development, pastoral care/guidance, justice, peace and service.
